Water Resources Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Water Resources Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to apply your technical skills and expertise in water resources management, hydrology, and flood modeling to deliver sustainable and liveable water solutions.

  • Lead hydrological and hydraulic modeling and analysis to inform planning studies through to detailed design of new infrastructure.
  • Develop creative solutions, proposals, and technical reporting to meet client needs.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, including business development, and engagement throughout project delivery.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar, with 7-15 years of experience in the water industry. You will have expertise in using hydrology and hydraulic modeling software, such as GIS, TUFLOW, HEC-RAS or MUSICA, and a good understanding of industry standards such as AR&R. Experience in preparing winning proposals and delivering projects is essential.

You will be working effectively within a multi-disciplinary team across the project lifecycle, leading and mentoring other team members. Strong client relationship skills and project management skills in water resources projects are required.
