Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our BootStack team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a growing engineering team, overseeing the day-to-day Managed Service of customer environments, and ensuring quality and velocity in development and operations.

The role entails:

  • Managing a high-performing engineering team to optimize development and operations
  • Identifying and measuring key performance indicators
  • Implementing disciplined engineering processes
  • Representing the team with stakeholders, customers, and external teams
  • Ensuring proper team focus on priorities, milestones, and deliverables
  • Delivering quality managed services in a consistent and timely manner

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology field or equivalent
  • Proven track record of professional experience in software delivery or operations management
  • Expertise in OpenStack
  • Strong commitment to testing methodologies and maintainable code quality
  • Experience with Linux system administration, Ubuntu/Debian preferred
  • Excellent communication and cooperation skills
  • Agile software development methodologies experience
  • Distributed team management experience
  • Technical aptitude for complex distributed systems
  • Cloud topology and technology experience
