Job Title: Yard Hand

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit individual to join our team as a Yard Hand in Weston, New South Wales. The successful candidate will have previous experience working with heavy equipment and mobile plant.

The primary responsibilities of this role include cleaning and detailing of returned hire plant and capital equipment to agreed standards. This involves undertaking planned and ad hoc housekeeping duties on plant, equipment, vehicles, and amenities to ensure they remain tidy, safe, clean, and in good working order.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and has a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will be able to work well with others as part of a small team and take a flexible approach as tasks will vary and no two days will be the same.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and detailing of returned hire plant and capital equipment to agreed standards
  • Undertaking planned and ad hoc housekeeping duties on plant, equipment, vehicles, and amenities
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in/around heavy equipment and mobile plant
  • Full drivers license
  • Co-operative attitude and ability to work well with others
  • Demonstrated willingness and ability to work within established safe work practices
  • Current Construction (White) card and forklift license are desirable but not essential
