Job Overview

A community-focused organization is seeking an experienced payroll professional to join their finance team. You will appreciate the organizational values and feel supported in your role. In this standalone position, you can make it your own and add value through your expertise and improvements.

The Role

  1. Process fortnightly payroll for approximately 500 employees.
  2. Interpret multiple awards and enterprise agreements.
  3. Prepare and calculate superannuation and payroll tax.
  4. Process new starters, terminations, and long service payments.
  5. Manage leave and entitlements.
  6. Perform payroll reconciliations and reporting.
  7. Handle payroll queries promptly and provide excellent customer service.

About You

  • Have extensive experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Have a strong understanding of payroll legislation.
  • Be able to interpret and apply multiple awards and enterprise agreements.
  • Have experience in a stand-alone payroll position.
  • Possess well-developed communication and customer service skills.
  • Be able to meet deadlines and work autonomously.
  • Have a positive and professional team-oriented attitude.
