About This Role

This role is designed to support senior compliance officers and the head of legal and compliance in managing regulatory, anti-money laundering, sanctions, and financial crime risks across various business and support units within a banking branch.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5-7 years of experience in a similar position and possess a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations, including AML/CTF and sanctions. They will also be able to interpret and apply these requirements to develop effective frameworks and solutions for implementation.

Key responsibilities will include providing sound advice and support on regulatory matters, assisting with policy development and review, and maintaining relationships with regulators. The successful candidate will also be responsible for conducting compliance reviews and risk assessments, analyzing data sets, and investigating potential unusual activities.
