About the Role
- As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for planning, developing, delivering, and evaluating individual or group specialised services as per client needs identified throughout the assessment process.
- You will assess clients' capacity to independently participate in activities of daily living, instrumental activities, home and community activities, learning, education, employment, play, and recreation.
- Provide individual and group OT training/intervention programs to achieve maximum independence and participation in activities appropriate to the client's developmental level.
- Award assistive devices and equipment to enhance access to developmentally appropriate activities.
Key Responsibilities
- In consultation with clients and their families, plan and deliver individualised occupational therapy services.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make adjustments as necessary.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and service delivery.
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy or equivalent).
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Experience working with individuals who are blind or have low vision.
- Ability to travel to client homes and community settings.
About the Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary of $88,000 pro rata + superannuation, along with the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients. You will also receive:
