Job Opportunity
We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to enhance the lives of seniors by providing individualized support and companionship in their own homes.
About the Role
- Provide social companionship to seniors and support with daily living tasks such as feeding, medication reminders, bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Transportation to appointments, errands, and social outings is also required.
- Standby assistance with transfers and overnight safety assistance may be necessary.
Qualifications
- No healthcare certification is required but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus experience caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or hospice persons is preferred.
- Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care is a plus.
- Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone is essential.
- A criminal background check and proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test are mandatory.
- Applicants must be physically able to perform duties, including lifting, pushing, and pulling approximately 25lbs.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are also required.
