Patient Support Assistant

The Wardsperson position is a dynamic opportunity to support clinical staff in delivering exceptional patient care. This role involves assisting with patient manual handling and transport throughout the hospital campus, as well as responding to emergency situations.
To be successful in this role, you will require strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to undergo a pre-employment National Police Check and comply with Canberra Health Services' Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
The Canberra Hospital is a 24-hour service that operates daily, including weekends and Public Holidays.
