Expert Nutrition Advisor Wanted

A dedicated professional is required to assist with referrals and provide expert nutrition advice to residents in a residential aged care setting.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of nutrition and dietary needs for residents onsite
  • Supporting individuals with complex dietary requirements, including swallowing and chewing difficulties, bowel and intestinal issues, and co-morbidities
  • Developing personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based research
  • Reviewing and implementing seasonal menu changes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Qualifications in Dietetics
  • Registration with the relevant professional body
  • National Police Check or equivalent
  • Current vaccinations
  • Experience working with elderly populations
