About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Property Maintenance team at Tesco Partners. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our properties, including equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to achieve first-time fix rates and improve efficiency.
  • Work closely with colleagues to share best practices and knowledge, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Conduct site visits to identify and address maintenance needs, ensuring a safe and functioning environment for customers and colleagues.
  • Use mobile devices to drive work completion and updates, ensuring seamless communication with the team.
  • Represent the Tesco Partners brand by demonstrating our core values, maintaining a positive attitude, and taking pride in wearing the company uniform.
  • Attend local and national meetings to provide valuable input and feedback, contributing to the growth and development of the team.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a maintenance, engineering, or construction environment.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for maintaining high standards and a commitment to quality service.
  • Operational skills, including ONC or equivalent, full driving license, health and safety awareness, communication and collaboration, and Office 365 knowledge.
  • Completed technical training upskilling modules relevant to abilities.
