About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team at Viatris, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Carole Park. As a key member of our Maintenance and Reliability team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake maintenance duties on plant and equipment to optimize operational efficiency
  • Conduct plant and equipment breakdown fault finding and repairs
  • Provide preventative maintenance to all areas of the site
  • Contribute to the decision-making process for Continuous Process Improvement teams
  • Ensure accurate maintenance records are completed for activities
Requirements
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues quickly and efficiently
  • Precision in work to ensure machinery is maintained to the highest standards
  • Ability to spot small issues before they turn into larger problems
  • Strong collaboration with other maintenance staff, engineers, and production teams
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks with minimal disruption to production
  • Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and ensuring a hazard-free work environment
  • Ability to train and mentor others on safety procedures
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals
  • Knowledge of the latest technology and best practices in maintenance and mechanical repairs
