Visiting Medical Officer in Orthopaedic Surgery

We are seeking a skilled Visiting Medical Officer to join our multidisciplinary team in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.

This is an excellent opportunity for a medical practitioner to contribute their expertise and passion for orthopaedic surgery to our team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, taking into account individual patient needs
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and optimal outcomes
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Pursue ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and advancements in the field

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons or hold other specialist recognition.

A commitment to quality improvement methodologies and adherence to NSW CORE Values and CCLHD Values and Behaviors is essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Recognized specialist qualifications and extensive experience in orthopaedic surgery

Completion of a 12-month Fellowship in Complex Trauma and Revision Arthroplasty
