Project Director Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead a prestigious ECI project: a high-end hotel refurbishment located in Brisbane.

About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to take the reins of a landmark project from its early stages, working closely with stakeholders to ensure the project meets the highest standards of quality, budget, and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the ECI hotel refurbishment project from inception through to completion.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Ensure the project adheres to all safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Manage project teams, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship.
  • Drive efficient communication and reporting across all project stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and resolve challenges to keep the project on track.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as a Senior Project Manager within the Tier 1 or Tier 2 construction sector.
  • Demonstrated history of successfully delivering complex, high-value projects, with specific experience in hotel refurbishments or large-scale commercial builds being highly regarded.
  • Adept at managing Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) processes.
  • Natural leader with exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contracts, and relevant legislation.
  • Commercially astute with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to project profitability.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
