As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for managing facility and infrastructure for a portfolio of properties, ensuring safety and compliance are maintained at all times.

  • Maintain high standards of safety at all facilities.
  • Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day maintenance and repair of site buildings & grounds.
  • Oversee contractors including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, safety, gardening, cleaning, waste management to maintain the facility to a high standard.
  • Create and manage maintenance plans for each site, ensuring compliance with relevant policies.
  • Manage a small facilities team ensuring adequate supervision and training.
  • Administer financial aspects of site-based maintenance activities and follow procurement processes.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a comparable facilities supervisor role.
  • Experience maintaining operational environments, prior supply chain exposure advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Australian Compliance requirements for building infrastructure.
  • Experience in managing teams of contractors.
  • Ability to travel to regional sites and respond to priority issues as needed.

Key Qualifications

  • Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of successful facilities management.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
