Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned leader to manage a segment of our Small and Medium Business (SMB) operations in Australia & New Zealand. The SMB Sales Manager will be instrumental in shaping our market approach, developing sales initiatives and processes that will benefit numerous small enterprises across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide a high-achieving team of Account Managers and Partner Managers to meet quarterly revenue objectives through strategic planning, goal setting, and data analysis.
- Design and implement innovative sales initiatives that yield results for Pinterest advertisers and agencies.
- Develop strategies to enhance revenue and optimize processes, utilizing extensive sales operations experience to improve team productivity.
- Effectively communicate project updates to stakeholders across various time zones in a clear and timely manner.
- Foster strong cross-regional and cross-functional collaborations with colleagues and internal teams, including product, sales operations, and marketing.
- Formulate and execute go-to-market strategies to successfully penetrate direct sales channels and maximize revenue.
- Leverage expertise in digital advertising and sales operations to refine direct sales efforts and boost market visibility.
- Inspire and cultivate sales talent, fostering a culture of accountability and positivity.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with Pinterest's vendor partners to ensure effective collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in digital media sales, online advertising, or sales leadership.
- A data-driven leader capable of guiding teams towards ambitious targets.
- Proven history of motivating and inspiring team members.
- Experience in process and operations management, with a focus on business growth and scalability.
- Ability to derive insights from data to inform strategic decisions and translate them into actionable plans.
- Comfortable navigating a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment.
- Experience with outsourced vendors is advantageous.
- Familiarity with New Business Acquisition and/or Agencies is a plus.
- Proficient in Salesforce, Tableau, Excel, and other sales productivity tools.
