Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned leader to manage a segment of our Small and Medium Business (SMB) operations in Australia & New Zealand. The SMB Sales Manager will be instrumental in shaping our market approach, developing sales initiatives and processes that will benefit numerous small enterprises across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Guide a high-achieving team of Account Managers and Partner Managers to meet quarterly revenue objectives through strategic planning, goal setting, and data analysis.
  2. Design and implement innovative sales initiatives that yield results for Pinterest advertisers and agencies.
  3. Develop strategies to enhance revenue and optimize processes, utilizing extensive sales operations experience to improve team productivity.
  4. Effectively communicate project updates to stakeholders across various time zones in a clear and timely manner.
  5. Foster strong cross-regional and cross-functional collaborations with colleagues and internal teams, including product, sales operations, and marketing.
  6. Formulate and execute go-to-market strategies to successfully penetrate direct sales channels and maximize revenue.
  7. Leverage expertise in digital advertising and sales operations to refine direct sales efforts and boost market visibility.
  8. Inspire and cultivate sales talent, fostering a culture of accountability and positivity.
  9. Manage and strengthen relationships with Pinterest's vendor partners to ensure effective collaboration.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 6 years of experience in digital media sales, online advertising, or sales leadership.
  2. A data-driven leader capable of guiding teams towards ambitious targets.
  3. Proven history of motivating and inspiring team members.
  4. Experience in process and operations management, with a focus on business growth and scalability.
  5. Ability to derive insights from data to inform strategic decisions and translate them into actionable plans.
  6. Comfortable navigating a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment.
  7. Experience with outsourced vendors is advantageous.
  8. Familiarity with New Business Acquisition and/or Agencies is a plus.
  9. Proficient in Salesforce, Tableau, Excel, and other sales productivity tools.
