Rolling Stock Upgrades Project Engineer Position Available.
We seek multiple Engineers with an Electrical, Mechanical or similar background to support a major Rail Company in the development and delivery of various Rolling Stock upgrades. This role will work as a key member of the Engineering team supporting all Rolling Stock project works within the business.
The focus is on design, development, integration, validation, and ongoing maintenance of systems across multiple fleets. Key responsibilities include:
- Design and develop activities while ensuring adherence to applicable processes, standards, and best practices.
- Develop technical documentation for new and upgraded systems and components.
- Provide technical advice, guidance, and governance.
- Support inputs to Risk Assessments, FEA, FMECAs, FTAs, etc.
Requirements for Success: An Engineering degree in a Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related discipline. RPEng certification is mandatory, CPEng would be beneficial. The successful candidate will have strong experience in mechanical design, CAD, FEA for the Mechanical role. Strong experience in electrical design, low voltage, 12 – 110V DC systems, basic control/switching, cabling, etc. for the Electrical role.
