Project Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Planning Specialist for Renewable Energy to join our team in Renewables at Equinor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the establishment and implementation of Equinor's project planning methodology, experience, and benchmark across business cases, development phases, and strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with disciplines and stakeholders to ensure high-quality project planning deliverables, including network planning, schedule risk analysis, and contract management.
  • Perform trend analysis and evaluate project scenarios to identify potential risks and propose mitigating actions.
  • Provide critical information and timely reporting to project teams, planners, and management.
  • Manage project scheduling activities from inception to close-out.
  • Contribute to the improvement of Equinor's templates, methods, procedures, and tools within the planning discipline.

Requirements

  • A proven track record in multidisciplinary project planning with experience from complex field development projects within renewables, oil, and gas, or construction.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical discipline, with more than 7 years of relevant post-graduate experience.
  • Experience in creating and managing schedules using planning tools/software.
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, communication, and influencing skills, with proficiency in digital tools and visual communication.
  • Proven experience working in a high-performance organization with tight timelines and ambitious targets across project portfolios.
  • Fluent written and verbal English, with proficiency in an APAC language beneficial.
