Overview
The role of a Security Specialist involves designing and implementing secure systems for major projects. The position requires expertise in Electronic Access Control Systems and CCTV to ensure the optimal placement of cameras and equipment.
- Design and implement security systems tailored to specific project needs.
- Conduct site assessments to determine the best placement of cameras and equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security systems with existing infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of design/engineering for electronic security requirements in terms of scope, schedule, and budget.
- Provide technical direction in the field of Electronic Security to all relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (e.g., electrical, electronic, controls, mechatronic, computer science).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Electronic Access Control Systems and/or CCTV including extensive design knowledge.
- Proven track record in a project engineering capacity involved in the delivery of technology-based / Security projects.
- Previous exposure to a site based, construction environment.
