Clinical Consultant Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Consultant to join our Joint Replacement team in Canberra. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain your technical expertise in operating theatres while supporting robotic-assisted knee and hip procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical expertise in operating theatres supporting robotic-assisted knee and hip procedures
  • Advanced software use for segmenting and planning surgeries from preoperative CT scans
  • Providing training and clinical support to surgeons and hospital teams
  • Purely clinical role, focused on patient outcomes and surgical success
Suitable Candidates
  • Recent graduates in biomedical science, health science, nursing, physiotherapy, engineering, exercise science or related fields
  • Healthcare professionals such as nurses, physios, surgical techs, osteopaths, or sports scientists
  • Individuals with a strong interest in human anatomy and surgical innovation
  • No prior robotics experience required - full training provided
Requirements
  • Passion for healthcare, anatomy and improving patient outcomes
  • Confidence in clinical settings and ability to communicate with medical professionals
  • Strong attention to detail and technical aptitude
  • Willingness to relocate to Canberra for at least 3 years (relocation support available)
