About the Role

As a Senior Occupational Therapist at North Canberra Hospital, you'll provide expert clinical care to patients in acute wards while leading and supervising a small team, including an Allied Health Assistant. Approximately 75% of your time will be spent managing a complex clinical caseload, with the remainder focused on team leadership, student supervision, and service development. You will work within a multidisciplinary environment to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care, support professional growth through education and supervision, and contribute to quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives.

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes and to shape the future of occupational therapy services at North Canberra Hospital.

Position Duties & Requirements

  • Prior to commencement, successful candidates will be required to:

    • Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
    Qualifications & Selection

We are seeking qualified occupational therapists with the ability to lead a team, manage a complex caseload, and contribute to service development within a multidisciplinary health care setting.
