Job Opportunity

We are seeking skilled Engineers to work in high-hazard regulated environments.

This role is part of the Nuclear-Powered Submarine Regulatory Design (NPSRD) team, responsible for regulation and licensing of nuclear-powered submarines, nuclear material, and associated nuclear facilities.

  • Nuclear safety and radiological protection principles knowledge is essential.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, government decision-making, and policy requirements is necessary.
  • Technical expertise and ability to provide advice on assessment and provision of licenses for facilities, as well as regulatory audit, inspection, compliance, and assurance of facility license holders related to nuclear powered submarines that fall under the regulatory framework of the Australian Naval Nuclear Power Safety Regulator (ANNPSR), is required.
  • Effective stakeholder relationship management and identification of stakeholders' expectations and concerns to develop and communicate methodologies and practices to achieve outcomes is crucial.
