About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Market Risk Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers and has a passion for risk management.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and reporting on Bank of Queensland's liquidity and interest rate risk in the banking book. You will also assist in developing reports to meet regulatory requirements, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience in Middle Office, Market Risk, or Treasury, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Sciences is also essential.

  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses
  • Manage and report on Bank of Queensland's liquidity and interest rate risk in the banking book
  • Assist in developing reports to meet regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify emerging risks and develop solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and ensure they are captured in the reporting framework
