Career Coach

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Career Coach to join our team. As a Career Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disability, injury, or health conditions as they prepare for a meaningful career.

  • Working closely with clients as they plan their next career steps, providing support to find the right job along the way.
  • Building strong relationships to understand each client's goals, strengths, and support needs.
  • Providing tailored coaching and regular check-ins to maintain motivation and progress.
  • Connecting participants with upskilling opportunities, hands-on experience, and group-based activities.
  • Collaborating with employers and community services to open pathways to employment and training.
  • Meeting or exceeding internal and external performance benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Supporting clients in finding employment that aligns with their goals and aspirations.
  2. Developing and implementing personalized employment and skills plans.
  3. Maintaining accurate records and reporting on client progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications in Employment or Human Services (e.g. Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work) - desirable
  • Experience in employment services and supporting people with disability, injury, or health conditions
  • Proven ability to meet KPIs and create client-focused employment and skills plans
  • Confident in marketing clients to employers and facilitating group programs
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
