We are seeking a highly skilled Services Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the work of building services consultants and trades on a new project located in Maroochydore.

This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in design management, coordination, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the design management process to ensure that emerging documentation meets cost budgets and program requirements for construction and installation.
  • Coordinate the work of building services engineering consultants and subcontractors where appointed.
  • In conjunction with the Contracts Administrator, identify opportunities for cost savings and assist with product selection and problem-solving to achieve best value for money.
  • Review all documentation for adequacy of design input.
  • Monitor the production of workshop drawings and as-built documents.
  • Progressively monitor the progress and quality of construction and plant installation on site, ensuring compliance with quality control, engineering, and safety requirements.
  • Assist with the handover and commissioning of the project, including submission of final documentation, as-built documents, authority approvals, warranties, training, and guarantees.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
  • Experience in coordinating mechanical and/or electrical design, construction, and installation activities on building projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening, and decision-making skills.
