**Job Description:**

We are seeking a skilled Instrument Calibration and Repair Technician to join our team. As a key member, you will work with world-class instruments and collaborate with customers and product specialists to inspect, calibrate, and maintain precision maintenance tools.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning and inspecting precision instruments for damage or faults
  • Completing instrument calibrations according to OEM guidelines and issuing calibration certificates
  • Troubleshooting system issues to identify the root cause and correct them with repairs according to OEM standards
  • Collaborating with OEM on complex troubleshooting and repairs
  • Maintaining detailed records of calibration and repair works (photographs, inspection and repair reports, and calibration records)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A self-driven approach, capable of operating autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • The ability to work collaboratively with overseas OEMs
  • A disciplined and systematic approach to work management
  • Experience with fine mechanical and electronic repairs
  • Excellent fine soldering skills and experience (IPC certificate 7711/7721 rework, modification, and repair of electronic assemblies qualification or similar would be highly regarded)
  • Proficiency in using IT systems for work management
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office experience (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word)
  • A proven ability to take initiative, coupled with robust problem-solving skills
  • Instrumentation technician train qualification would be highly beneficial
