Examinations Coordinator Role

Assessment Services seeks a skilled Examinations Coordinator to play a key role in the coordination of Divisional Clinical Examination processes. This position involves providing administrative support for examination and committee processes, as well as coordinating the involvement of other team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage timelines, processes, communications, and documentation to ensure the smooth delivery of examinations
  • Provide secretariat support to divisional examination committees and examiner panels, including preparation of agendas and briefs, organising and attending meetings, producing minutes, drafting reports and correspondence
  • Arrange calibration/training sessions and provide support to committees, panels, examiners, local examination organisers, hospital administrative staff and other external stakeholders involved in conducting assessments
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate details, applications, and results to ensure information reliability
  • Manage candidate withdrawals, special considerations, and other requests as required
Essential Attributes:
  • Relevant qualifications or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience in administration
  • Previous experience in an administrative support role in a busy, complex work environment with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Effective planning and organisational skills with ability to manage competing deadlines and high workloads without compromising quality and standards
  • A commitment to professional client service and maintaining confidentiality
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, including proofreading skills
  • Proven initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
