Project Infrastructure Specialist Role Overview

The Project Engineer - Structures will play a key part in driving complex projects forward, ensuring they are delivered on time and with lasting benefits.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support project planning, design, and delivery of A2P Enhancement projects.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical queries and ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate inputs from stakeholder engagement, safety, environment, commercial, and project controls.
  • Review contractor scopes, schedules, and safety plans to ensure alignment.
  • Assist in resolving site and construction issues, reporting on scope deviations.
  • Contribute to safety initiatives and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Support project management planning, performance reporting, and KPI tracking.
Key Qualifications:
  • Degree in civil engineering or equivalent qualifications.
  • Eligibility for membership of the Institute of Engineers Australia.
  • Knowledge of work health and safety principles and relevant rail safety legislation.
  • Demonstrable ability to work in an organised manner.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
