Job Overview:

This civil earthworks project opportunity offers a stable, career-building experience for someone who thrives in delivery-focused environments and wants to grow into more senior roles over time.

You'll support the successful delivery of projects — including bulk earthworks, road construction, drainage, and associated infrastructure — from start to finish.

  • Oversee daily project activities, site inspections, safety compliance, and quality assurance
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, materials, and suppliers
  • Track project progress against program timelines and assist in reporting to senior management
  • Review project drawings, scopes, and specifications to support planning and execution
  • Ensure accurate project documentation, including ITPs, RFIs, variations, and site diaries
  • Identify and resolve site issues quickly to minimize disruption
  • Collaborate with internal teams and client-side representatives to maintain delivery standards

This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, and full Australian working rights or sponsorship options available for exceptional candidates.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Subcontractor management experience is essential
  • Ideal candidate has worked with Tier 2 or Tier 3 civil contractors in Australia
  • Strong understanding of safety, environmental, and quality management systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Full Australian working rights preferred – however, sponsorship will be considered for exceptional candidates
