As an Owners Corporation Manager, you will oversee the administrative and financial aspects of owners corporations. You require a strong understanding of owners corporation statutory requirements, real estate industry knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

You will work closely with owners, committee members, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and timely resolution of issues. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, processing insurance claims, and supervising caretakers/concierge/building managers.

The role involves convening owners corporation annual general, committee of management, and special meetings within prescribed timeframes. You must prepare annual budgets for owners corporations and instigate or review sinking funds for long-term maintenance of properties.

Additionally, you are required to approve accounts for the owners corporation and review financial statements at all quarterly committee meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Convene owners corporation annual general, committee of management, and special meetings within prescribed timeframes.
  • Prepare annual budgets for owners corporations and instigate or review sinking funds for long-term maintenance of properties.
  • Approve accounts for the owners corporation and review financial statements at all quarterly committee meetings.
  • Liaise with owners, committee members, and other agents in a professional manner to answer queries, respond to requests, breaches of owners corporation rules, or emergency situations.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in an owners corporation role, including thorough knowledge of owners corporation statutory requirements.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the real estate industry.
  • Proven ability to participate in owners corporation meetings.
  • Experience in handling budgets, financial details, and interpreting figures.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), including proven experience working as part of a team and liaising with a wide variety of people.
