The Role

We are seeking a skilled Drainage Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering exceptional results through accurate estimates, meticulous analysis, and insightful reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement drainage systems, ensuring efficient and effective water management.
  • Analyse specifications, plans, and technical data to determine time, cost, and labour requirements for projects.
  • Participate in detailed design teams to ensure estimates are relevant to scopes of work, stakeholders' expectations, and are cost-effective.
  • Manage the preparation of estimates, designs, and tenders, following company procedures.

Requirements

  • Proficient in computer and IT proprietary systems such as MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of specific hydraulic software such as 12d Drainage, HY 8, TuFLOW, HEC-RAS, DRAINS is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
