The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join our team in Australia and Britain.
In this role, you will provide technical expertise and advice to our Contracts Lead in the management of our enterprise contracting activity.
You will also support our Deputy General Counsel, Associate General Counsel, and Contracts Lead in providing legal advice to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a pragmatic and innovative framework for contracting activity, in close consultation with program and corporate stakeholders.
- Provide advice to the Contracts Lead and effectuate the devolution of contracting activities and approvals.
- Lead the provision of technical advice and undertake contracting and procurement activity in respect of complex and high-value contracts.
- Continuously improve expertise in, and current awareness of changes to, the laws and client procurement rules relevant to our contracting activity.
- Provide guidance to our Business Growth teams in the contracting aspects of new business opportunities.
- Train staff and provide additional capacity building on templates, policies, procedures, contracting, and grant management.
- Serve as contracts POC for subcontracts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience.
- Law degree strongly preferred.
