Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Contracts Manager to lead our customer-facing order handling, procurement, and supply chain execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, negotiating contracts, and driving business growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of customer portfolio requirements, including installation bases.
  • Negotiate performance-based contracts and maintain ongoing contract terms, conditions, and performance.
  • Drive the FLSmidth ESG agenda, focusing on new technologies and sustainability.
  • Lead the 180-day forecasting process for contracted items, gaining sign-off from assigned customer portfolios and Central Procurement.
  • Oversight and management of the rolling 30-day order placement and execution activities.
  • Preparation and presentation of monthly reporting SLAs, both face-to-face and online.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review and facilitate the resolution of warranty and service support issues.
  • Timely and accurate maintenance of customer portfolio data.
Requirements
  • Recent experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement with a strong customer service attitude.
  • Ability to interpret and comprehend commercial contract terms and conditions.
  • Strong ability to negotiate tactics and planning.
  • Experience in a customer-facing order handling, procurement, or supply chain execution role in the resources sector.
  • Good understanding of Supply Chain processes and principles.
  • Sound understanding of Trade Practice Law and requirements as required.
  • Ability to influence and persuade internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to interpret and comprehend basic financial data.
  • Ability to work in a team or individually on multiple concurrent projects.
  • Ability to handle conflicts and manage dispute resolution.
  • Ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver in a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Good organization skills that deliver effective planning and housekeeping standards.
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills.
