Job Description:
The Principal Education Officer will lead strategic initiatives aligned to the Education Strategy, with a focus on school performance planning, monitoring and review. This includes developing and implementing policies, procedures and standards to deliver improved services using recent school-based experience and high-level knowledge of school performance planning, monitoring and review.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strategic leadership and relationship-building skills
- High-quality advice and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of departmental policies and procedures, legislation and guidelines
- Ability to maintain current knowledge of departmental policies and procedures, legislation and guidelines
