The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Risk & Compliance team as a Senior Advisor in our Sydney, Brisbane, or Perth offices.

As a Senior Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the firm meets its global strategy by working closely with the Risk & Compliance management team to conduct comprehensive conflict and other assessments related to new and existing business.

You will be responsible for ensuring the firm meets its obligations in relation to conflicts of interest and compliance issues worldwide, and will work closely with the wider Risk & Compliance team to achieve this goal.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Professional services experience, ideally within a law firm.
  • UK/Overseas legal qualification (or minimum of LPC) preferable but not essential.
  • Excellent judgment and business awareness, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work effectively at all levels across the firm and offices.
  • Discrete and professional approach, with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Good team spirit and the ability to lead by example.
  • Commitment to supporting the team as a global function and ability to strengthen connections globally.
  • Ability to use own judgment to come to decisions, but also aware of when issues need to be escalated.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to new situations, processes and technology.
