The Opportunity:
We are seeking a qualified individual to join our esteemed Risk & Compliance division as a Senior Compliance Advisor. This role is pivotal in our operations, focusing on conflicts and ethical considerations.
As a Senior Compliance Advisor, you will collaborate closely with the broader Risk & Compliance management team to ensure that our firm conducts thorough assessments of conflicts and related matters associated with both new and ongoing business engagements. Your primary focus will be on ensuring adherence to our obligations concerning conflicts of interest and compliance issues on a global scale.
Your contributions will be essential in aligning our activities with the firm's overarching global strategy within the Risk & Compliance framework.
About You:
To excel in this position, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
Experience in professional services, preferably within a legal environment. A legal qualification from the UK or overseas (or at least an LPC) is advantageous but not mandatory. Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and possess business acumen; skilled in articulating arguments clearly to senior management and partners, requiring exceptional negotiation capabilities. A strong interest in understanding business operations and analytical thinking; familiarity with firm-wide legal practices will provide exposure to various high-profile commercial transactions. Discretion and professionalism are crucial, as the information handled will be confidential and sensitive. Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication across all levels of the firm. A collaborative spirit: willing to assist colleagues in resolving issues diplomatically and lead by example. A commitment to supporting the team as a global function and enhancing global connections.
