Job Title: User Experience (UX) Designer

We are seeking a skilled User Experience (UX) Designer to join our team. As a UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating innovative design solutions that meet the needs of our users.

Responsibilities:

  • Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to visualise and communicate design concepts.
  • Develop high-fidelity mock-ups and prototypes using Figma.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing using appropriate UX research methods.
  • Identify and analyse user pain points.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team on innovative design solutions.

Requirements:

  • Roughly 3 or more years of professional design experience.
  • Familiarity with fundamental design principles.
  • Understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies, accessibility, UI, and usability best practices.
  • Proficient with relevant design tools, processes, and best practices.
  • Experience working with a new product throughout its creation would be looked upon favourably.

Hiring Process:

  1. We'll set up an initial screening interview over Zoom to discuss cultural fit and ensure we're all on the same page around timelines, working environment, and expectations.
  2. After a successful phone screening, we'll request a portfolio or design sample showcasing your design projects. Alternatively, we may provide a design challenge.
  3. We then schedule a longer interview in our offices with a handful of our team. This is a chance for you to get to know some of the people you'd be working alongside, ask questions about what it's like to work at Cubiko, and for us to assess your suitability for the role.
  4. Finally, we'll make a decision internally and get back to you.
