The successful candidate will have relevant experience and expertise to develop and manage a risk-based Emergency Management Framework for the State within a national context. This will involve working closely with the Chief Officers of the SA Metropolitan Fire Service, Country Fire Service, and State Emergency Service.

In this dynamic leadership role, you will be responsible for initiating advancements of sector improvements, maintaining key capabilities such as Public Information and Warning Systems, and engaging with relevant volunteer associations and unions.

As a strategic thinker, you will provide effective allocation of resources within the emergency services sector to ensure the provision of adequate frontline services to support and protect South Australia's community.
