About the Opportunity

This critical sales role plays a vital part in driving business expansion and ensuring customer satisfaction within designated areas.

You will execute strategic sales initiatives, foster strong client relationships, and meet ambitious growth objectives as the on-the-ground representative.

Daily efforts will be focused on optimising growth performance and delivering value to clients, working closely with cross-functional teams to share field insights and ensure our technology meets farmers' needs.

Your contributions will directly support our mission to enhance the productivity and sustainability of 50% of the world's habitable landmass.

Responsibilities:

  • On-farm meetings: Understanding prospects' needs, communicating product functionality, benefits, and highlighting value relative to each farming operation.
  • Pipeline development: Building and growing a quality pipeline of suitable farms, reducing sales cycle times while maintaining high standards.
  • Negotiation and relationship-building: Establishing and maintaining industry connections to promote our brand.
  • Forecasting: Collaborating with the Business Development Manager to enable monthly and quarterly revenue forecasting.
  • Sales process improvement: Optimising and evolving the sales process to become faster, more efficient, and predictable as we scale.

Requirements:

  • A deep passion for helping farmers succeed and relevant experience in farm systems or the agricultural sector.
  • A proven track record of exceeding goals in sales roles and experience in new business growth, owning the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to close.
  • An exceptional attitude and team player who consistently overcomes challenges.
  • The ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment with a high degree of autonomy.
