About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled VMware Engineer to join our team at Softtest Pays Pty Ltd. As a VMware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing VMware virtualization platforms using VCF (vCloud Foundation).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implement NSX in a SDDC: Develop and operate a VMware virtualization platform using VCF, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
- Develop and Operate VCF: Design, test, and deploy new versions of VMware software, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Hardware and Software Development: Develop and operate hardware and software for VCF, ensuring compatibility and reliability.
- System Monitoring and Maintenance: Implement regular checks to confirm system status, including hardware and software, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Technical Guidance: Provide guidance to other technical team members on developing and operating virtual machines in VCF.
- Backup and Recovery: Develop and operate a backup and recovery service for VCF, ensuring business continuity and data integrity.
- Performance Optimization: Manage performance of the virtual infrastructure and implement improvements to maintain required performance levels.
- Automation: Provide automation through VMware services, streamlining processes and improving efficiency.
Requirements:
- Experience in designing and implementing NSX in a SDDC.
- Strong knowledge of VMware virtualization platforms and VCF.
- Ability to design, test, and deploy new versions of VMware software.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
