About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Geology Technician to join our team at Tropicana Gold Mine on a permanent basis. This role provides support to the Geology team through the allocation of tasks/activities and resources as prioritised and directed by the Mine Geology Supervisor or delegated Leading Hands.

The successful candidate will be accountable for carrying out various tasks related to open pit operations, including but not limited to:

  • Carrying out open pit related tasks when requested;
  • Carrying out Field QAQC mass balance test work programs as directed;
  • Executing Core yard duties to deliver required objectives and outputs;
  • Carrying out core cutting and sampling of core ensuring QAQC protocols are followed;
  • Sample prep for onsite lab – Crushing core, splitting, scanning and creating sample dispatch orders.
