About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Parts Interpreter to join our team at Velocity Truck Centres. As a key member of our parts department, you will be responsible for efficiently responding to customer and workshop inquiries regarding vehicle parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and identify van and truck parts accurately
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the parts department
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of parts inventory and availability
  • Process orders and handle transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts when necessary
  • Provide ad-hoc support for service team as required

About You
  • Minimum of one year of experience in interpreting spare parts
  • Previous experience in a similar 'customer facing' role within a fast-paced retail parts operation
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound administrative and organisational skills
