A challenging opportunity exists for a Dental Assistant to join our surgical practice.

We provide advanced dental implant surgery, orthognathic jaw surgery, oral surgery, endodontics, and facial plastic surgery in Goodwood, Adelaide.

The successful candidate will work closely with our skilled endodontist and oral surgeon, gaining exposure to rare surgical treatments and a varied work week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the surgeon and endodontist with chairside treatments and surgery
  • Sterilise and prepare instruments for treatments
  • Prepare treatment rooms
  • Administrative tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Dental Assisting and at least 1 year of experience
  • Certificate IV in Dental Assisting preferred or willingness to acquire within 12 months
  • Experience in implants, endodontics, and surgical extractions preferred
  • High standard of infection control
  • Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Punctuality
