Job Title: Security Systems Technician

We are seeking an experienced Security Systems Technician to join our Service Team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intercom systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair security equipment, including access control and CCTV systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance on existing security systems
  • Install and commission new security systems, including small to medium commercial projects
  • Quoting and running small/medium fitouts/upgrades on maintenance database clients
  • Liaise with subcontractors during the commissioning of projects
  • Assist the commercial projects team with new and existing works
  • Customer relationship management
Requirements:
  • Australian resident with a valid QLD driving license, cable license, security license, and building industry induction card
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong systems, network, and PC-related skills, plus a strong installation and commissioning ethic
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently within a team
