Senior Commercial Litigator Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled commercial litigator with a strong background in insolvency matters to join our esteemed team of experts in Melbourne.

This senior role will involve advising clients on complex commercial disputes, managing litigation cases from inception to resolution, and collaborating closely with market-leading partners and counsel. You will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice, conducting thorough investigations, and drafting expert briefs and court documents.

The ideal candidate will possess at least 4 years' post-admission experience in a reputable Australian litigation practice, as well as a strong academic record, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice on commercial disputes and insolvency matters
  • Manage litigation cases from inception to resolution
  • Collaborate closely with partners and counsel to achieve case objectives
  • Conduct thorough investigations and draft expert briefs and court documents
  • Communicate effectively with clients, counter-parties, and counsel

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years' post-admission experience in a reputable Australian litigation practice
  • Strong academic record in law or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Proven track record of success in commercial litigation
