Revenue Recovery Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of revenue recovery specialists, ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of invoices, timely collection of payments, and maintenance of positive relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor the revenue recovery team, providing guidance and support to achieve goals.
  • Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process – invoicing, payments, and fund application.
  • Handle escalated customer queries, disputes, or payment issues while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Generate and analyse reports on ageing, collections, and cash flow to identify trends and improvements.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practice.
  • Deliver training to team members on processes, systems, and best practice.
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, tech, and customer service teams to streamline workflows and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Manage case work across multiple stakeholders, including investigating complaints, collecting payments, and updating job details.
  • Ensure accurate completion of rebate documentation in Formbay to meet compliance standards.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage high-pressure situations and de-escalate effectively.
  • A proven multi-tasker with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
  • Prior experience with Xero or similar accounting systems.
  • Previous experience in collections or accounts receivable.
  • Familiarity with a SaaS CRM (Salesforce experience highly regarded).
  • Proficiency with Google Sheets or Excel.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Tertiary degree in Accounting/Finance/Business; professional accounting qualification desirable.
  • Proven experience managing AR operations including billing, collections, reconciliation.
