Mental Health Professional

A Behavioural Support Practitioner/ Psychologist is responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments and implementing evidence-based interventions to support individuals with diverse mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting thorough clinical observations, interviews, and standardized assessments to identify client needs.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Delivering tailored interventions and assessments to cater to the unique requirements of each client.
- Improving accessibility by providing community visits at home, schools, day programs, and group homes as necessary.
- Participating in team-based interventions and collaborating with clinicians to develop new programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Registration with AHPRA or AASW or equivalent professional body.
- Current driver's license with ability and willingness to travel to clients.
- Knowledge of psychologist's ethical and legal obligations and professional accountability.
- Well-developed communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, National Federal Police Check, and Working with Children Check.
