Job Description

As a seasoned Project Manager, you will be joining a boutique consultancy with an exceptional track record in delivering high-quality projects across various sectors, including health, education, retail, commercial, and aged care.

You will work alongside a senior team member, gaining valuable mentorship and exposure to the entire project lifecycle, while also collaborating directly with clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Communicating effectively with clients to understand their project requirements and goals.
  • Creating comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Managing project tasks and ensuring timely completion within budget.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including clients and relevant professionals.
  • Tracking project progress and reporting to clients and senior management.
  • Identifying and resolving project issues or conflicts.
  • Building strong relationships with clients by managing expectations and facilitating open communication.
  • Participating in project meetings and calls.
  • Assisting senior project managers with additional tasks as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Ideal candidates possess:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Project Management Consultancy or contracting.
  • Experience in educational or healthcare projects is highly advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
  • Strong financial and budget management skills, with the ability to manage project budgets and financials.
  • Knowledge of local construction industry and a strong understanding of Victorian Building Codes.
  • A full Australian Driving License.
