Project and Contract Officer Opportunity

This role involves providing strategic support in the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale work programs to develop comprehensive procurement strategies and contract services for government offices.

  • Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will possess strong project management and organisational skills, with expertise in developing and implementing change and communication strategies for complex work projects. They will also have experience in supporting project governance and reporting needs, as well as a proven track record in managing timelines, resources, and deliverables.

  • Responsibilities Include:
  • Supporting project planning and execution, including project management, contract transition management, procurement, stakeholder engagement, and risk management activities.
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive change and communications plans, including stakeholder mapping, impact assessments, change strategy, communications materials, and rollout support for contract transition activities.
  • Providing governance support to senior project managers and directors, including drafting terms of reference, coordinating working groups and Steering Committees, and ensuring compliance with legislative and policy frameworks.
  • Requirements:
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in supporting project and contract management requirements for complex commercial procurements, preferably in a government context.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive change and communication strategies for complex work projects, preferably in a procurement contract transition context.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with expertise in monitoring and actively managing timelines, resources, and deliverables.
