Responsibilities
  • Financial Leadership
    • Lead all accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, monthly close, and reconciliations.
    • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and compliance with tax requirements.
    • Coordinate quarterly and year-end reviews with external tax/accounting partners.
    • Develop forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes to support leadership decision-making.
  • Administrative Oversight
    • Oversee recruiting, onboarding, and HR compliance to support operational departments.
    • Manage payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations.
    • Partner with managers to maintain proper staffing levels and organizational efficiency.
    • Manage and mentor a team of administrative staff (currently 3 full-time, 1 part-time direct, and 4 indirect reports).
    • Ensure consistent office coverage, scheduling, and cross-training to maintain smooth operations.
    • Establish systems for accuracy, accountability, and continuous process improvement.
  • IT Systems Support
    • Serve as primary liaison to IT partners for ERP and security systems.
    • Enhance systems for tracking, data capture, and process automation across finance, HR, and operations.
  • Leadership and Management
    • Provide proactive communication to managers regarding incomplete or inaccurate information.
    • Support operations and sales teams with administrative and financial needs.
    • Uphold and model company values including technical excellence, service, accountability, and results-driven leadership.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience, including leadership responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Experience overseeing HR and administrative functions is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage, train, and develop teams.
  • Proficiency with ERP/accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
