Project Lead - Superannuation Product Development

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced project lead to spearhead the delivery of our superannuation product initiatives, shaping the future of our offering.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams and external partners to drive innovation, manage risks, and ensure timely execution of projects. Key areas of focus include program management, stakeholder engagement, and decision-making.

A strong understanding of superannuation products, processes, and regulatory environments is essential. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead customer-facing workstreams of Betashares Superannuation and member transition projects.
  • Collaborate with Delivery Manager on Operational workstreams and jointly lead program management.
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external vendor partners.
  • Management and oversight of end-to-end streams within Projects - delivery, schedule, and milestones, dependencies, budget, resource, and contingency management.
  • Engage with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring they effectively support product delivery.
  • Facilitate effective project meetings, ensuring thorough follow-up on action items and successful and timely execution of tasks.
  • Ensure decisions, risks, and issues are documented appropriately and communicated across the team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar or highly complementary role, including strategic product management.
  • Good understanding of superannuation and wealth management products, process, and regulatory environment.
  • Highly developed delivery and implementation skills, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Proven track record of leading and successfully delivering complex projects across cross-functional teams and external vendor partners.
  • Excellent numerical proficiency, strong commercial acumen, and meticulous attention to detail.
